OER, or open educational resources, are low-cost, flexible course content that can supplement or replace traditional print textbooks. Butler Library has created an OER Guide to help you understand, find, and use OER.

  • The Copyright and CC Licenses tab provides an explanation about how OER licenses differ from traditional licenses.
  • The Open Educational Resources Tab contains lists of OER repositories and other resources for finding content.
  • The Searching for OER tab provides information on finding content outside of OER-specific repositories or collection.

Need more help? Want to get more involved in OER? Contact Butler Library to find out more.
