If the secure wireless certificate on your iPhone has expired, follow the steps below to renew the certificate.  These steps must be performed from the device that you are renewing!

Please Note These instructions are based on iOS 9. The steps in this guide may be slightly different depending on the model of phone you have, and the iOS version you are running.

Step 1: Remove old secure wireless profile

  1. Tap Settings > General > Profile.
  2. Tap DEV_Student if you are a student or DEV_F&S-NSL if you are faculty/staff.

  1. Tap Delete Profile.
  2. Enter your phone’s passcode.
  3. Tap Delete.

Step 2: Renew your device

  1. Open Safari and visit: http://rite.buffalostate.edu/secure-wireless.html
  2. Tap one of the Enroll Your Device links.
  3. When the Welcome to Buffalo State's secure wireless network screen appears, tap Continue.
  4. Enter your Buffalo State username and password, tap Continue
  5. Tap Install on the Install Profile screen.

  1. Enter your phone’s passcode.
  2. Tap Install, tap Install again, tap Done.

Your certificate is now renewed and your device should be connected to the Bengal wireless network.
