Yet students still have to pay for printing.

  2. Hi Joe. Thank you for your comment. We always appreciate student feedback for our services.
The library has opted for the USG subsidized pay-as-you-go printing because we found that it reduced the cost to the individual students. Other campuses that do not require payment for printing often times include a set cost for printing into tuition or comprehensive fees for every semester. We found that allowing students to pay-as-you-go reduced overall costs, especially with the USG subsidized printing.
That being said, I will bring up your feedback at our next library meeting as a point of discussion.

  3. 2023 and we're still paying for printing, and being charged money we don't see. Taxation without representation?

  4. We apologize for the inconvenience. As was previously mentioned in the comments, the library agreed to the discounted printing rate to save money for students. We found the pay-as-you-go system far more cost-effective than including the cost up front in the technology fees.
