In June of 2019, all SUNY Libraries will switch from Summon to Primo (ALLSearch). In addition to a new search interface, there will be several other notable changes.

1. Most circulating items will be loanable for the entire semester for Students. This does not include Course reserves (textbooks) or high use collections such as Curriculum Materials or Creative Studies. Faculty and staff will be able to check most items out for 16 weeks.

2. Borrowing from other SUNY institutions will be easier than ever. Search the SUNY Catalog to identify materials from other SUNY campuses and click on Resource Sharing under How to get it in the search results to place a request.

3. You can easily manage your library account by signing into Primo. If you started from Blackboard, then you were probably signed in automatically. If not, look for the Sign-in link in the upper right and click on Library Card to manage your account. Signing in will help you get the most out of Primo by maximizing the services that are available.
