Primo (ALLsearch) works differently from Summon. Summon created master records for all the included resources, Primo uses data direct from the publishers. Some publishers provide more data than others. As such, there is no separate Abstract field.

Basic searches or advanced searches with the Any Field facet will search the Description field (in addition to many others). Description typically contains the abstract, table of contents, editorial notes, and many other elements. The best way to search for elements in an abstract is to use one of these two searches.

Primo (ALLsearch) is moving to an index more like Summon in the future. If it becomes possible to implement a separate Abstract search in the future, the library will explore it.
