Activate your accounts by changing your passwords

You are required to create a new password before you can access your accounts. The chart below summarizes the username/ID and default password/PIN associated with each account:

Account Login using your... Default password
Banner Banner ID DOB in MMDDYY format (must change PIN at first logon)
Blackboard Buffalo State Username Random - Activate your network account from Banner
Campus Network Buffalo State Username Random - Activate your network account from Banner
Degree Works Buffalo State Username Random - Activate your network account from Banner
Student Gmail Buffalo State Username Random - Retrieve your default password from Banner

Please Note Your campus network account is linked to your Blackboard and Degree Works accounts. In other words, when you activate your network password via Banner, this changes your password for each of these systems. Your PIN/password for Banner and Student Gmail are not linked to your campus network password.
